Kyanite and Filigree Pendant with Swarovski Chain
The fragility of the kyanite gemstone is bolstered with a backing of epoxy prior to being set in sterling and fine silver. The gem is further protected by a filigree overlay with enough visibility to allow the natural beauty of the kyanite shine through.
Each filigree piece is hand crafted one at a time, the wires are twisted and tension set before they are soldered into place. Due to the nature of this process natural variations will occur.
Finally a chain was hand crafted with the use of Swarovski crystals in 16” length which can be lengthen or shortened upon request.
