Inspired by a black garnet’s natural peaks and valleys, this piece is made from an imprint of the gemstone. The imprint was filled with wax which was then cast utilizing the lost wax technique. The piece was then colored with patina to enhance all of the varying textures.
The chain was made from the loop in loop technique, in which fine silver circles were fused, shaped, and then woven together. This weaving technique gives a beautiful pattern on either side and the bracelet was designed to be reversible to give the wearer options.
